Health care experts are warning that millions of Americans will soon be forced to pay higher premiums as premiums for employer-provided plans skyrocket under President Donald Trump’s health care law.
The Trump administration is threatening to eliminate or drastically reduce coverage subsidies that people receive for their health care, including for dental and vision care.
The cost of those coverage cuts will hit many people with preexisting conditions hardest.
Many Americans are already struggling with rising premiums because they don’t qualify for subsidies that help people pay their bills.
But many more won’t have coverage at all because they won’t be able to get subsidies from the government to purchase insurance, experts said.
